Kim'z Cafe sits quietly on West Main Street in Blackburn, serving up a welcoming spot for anyone looking to grab a solid breakfast or a reliably good coffee. This is a straightforward, no-fuss local café where the focus rests clearly on quality and familiarity rather than flair, making it a steady go-to for residents and those passing through alike.

Inside, the atmosphere feels relaxed and clean, reflecting a place that values hygiene and a friendly face over anything flashy. You’ll often find a mixture of locals who drop by for their morning coffee or a quick lunch, as well as visitors who’ve stumbled in after a nearby errand or car service, drawn by the easy vibe and well-prepared food.

The menu leans into classic café comforts, with a few standout items noted by regulars: the Cheesy Mac N Cheese, Coronation Chicken Panini, and Crispy Chicken Burger keep things casual but satisfying. It’s the kind of food suited to stop-in visits or low-key catch-ups rather than lingering over multiple courses.

Breakfast is a particular highlight here, appreciated by those who start their day early around Blackburn and West Lothian – from workers in nearby Seafield to visitors dropping in unexpectedly. The portions are generous, the coffee consistently highly regarded, and the service shines through a sense of genuine local warmth. Regulars seem to enjoy the personable side of the experience, with the owners known for knowing their customers by name and going the extra mile.

For anyone in the area looking to combine a quick, quality breakfast or lunch with straightforward comfort and a friendly atmosphere, Kim'z Cafe fits quietly but surely into that niche. The best times to visit are early mornings or lunchtime on weekdays, when the place hums with local life without ever feeling crowded. It’s a spot that serves its community with consistent familiarity and a strong sense of caring.

Been working in Seafield recently so been nipping in here for some rolls and a coffee. Great service and can't fault any of the food I have had. Will be visiting a few more times over the coming weeks.

Have been driving past this place for a couple years but never had the time to pop in. I found some time recently and went in for a full breakfast. Feels like I’ve been missing out big time! By far the best breakfast you’ll get in West Lothian. Very friendly also very clean/hygienic

Not from the area but after dropping my car into the garage here first thing was looking for somewhere to grab breakfast. Found this place and boy am I glad I did! The proprietor greeted me as I came through the door with a lovely smile and friendly chat. Really a very warm welcome. As her regulars steadily came through the door, it was clear she had a fantastic relationship with them all. They also chatted to me and had a good natter. As for the food - I had the full cooked breakfast and a lovely coffee but such were the wide variety of culinary options, I stayed for the most beautifully home made cheese cake and ice cream along with a tremendous cup of tea. The regulars all had their "usuals" - an eclectic mix from salads to Mac n cheese to coffee/tea and cake. If you're stopping in Blackburn, passing through or otherwise pay a visit here. You'll not regret it! I'll be back....

Fantastic cafe in the heart of West Lothian. Staff are super friendly always on hand to assist with a cuppa top up or even a chat. Superb place for breakfast or lunch. The breakfasts are all cooked fresh so you can enjoy it as it should be . I highly recommend going here for top quality food. Already looking forward to returning.

Great fresh cooked breakfast with excellent coffee in a homely environment. Piping hot and great rolls on sausage at a very economical price for your pocket. 5 stars.

Have been to kimz cafe a few times now, staff are really friendly. The prices are fantastically low and everything I've eaten is freshly prepared and delicious. The Mac n cheese is lovely and creamy and cheesy and is only £2.80. The tea coffee and homebaking go down a treat. I would highly recommend this small but charming little cafe, and it won't break the bank.
